I love pastries! Unfortunately all gluten free pastries do not taste the same. It is very disappointing to purchase a pastry and dislike the taste. Gee Free offers frozen puff pastry sheets that are both tasty and extremely easy to use. I created mini pastries filled with Jams by Kim. You can create your own pastry or use a recipe from a cookbook.
I found the puff pastry sheets in the freezer section of my local Whole Foods. There are two pastry sheets per box. The sheets are wrapped separately. You can use one and freeze the other for a later date. The price was $9.99. It is well worth the price. This was my first packaged gluten free marinade. It was easy to use with my own recipes. If you watch my videos, you know that I love to be creative. I add ingredients that are not typically included in some dishes. That's what makes cooking fun. The Mojo Chipotle marinade has a spicy kick, so I added mangos and pineapples to compliment the flavor of the spices. I am not a fan of spicy foods, but I enjoyed this marinade. My family is a big fan of spicy foods. Needless to say, they enjoyed this dish. I have also used the marinade on chicken wings when serving them as appetizers.
I like the Sazonador seasoning! I have used it in several dishes such as hamburgers, meat loaf, fried chicken and soups. This seasoning is full of flavor, so I do not added any additional spices . It is a perfect resource when cooking meals after a long day of work. This seasoning is a must have item for my spice cabinet. One of the best things about Goya products is that they are readily available in local food stores. Both my local Shoprite and Pathmark have a large selection of Goya Products. I was amazed and pleased to find Cheerios are gluten free and in my local food store! Cherrios are more than a breakfast cereal. You can mix them with raisins, dried fruits and create a tasty lunch box snack. Having a party, make Cheerios squares by combining butter (or a vegan spread) with marshmellows and Cherrios. Of course you can eat them as cereal. In the winter, try Cherrios with warm rice or almond milk. I tried this cereal straight from the box, without any milk or sugar. I can honestly say that I like this cereal. I think children and adults will both enjoy this cereal.
XOXOXOX Dawn  To celebrate Celiac awareness month, I converted a recipe for a family favorite - mac & cheese. I created a recipe for a traditional mac & cheese, a mac & cheese with chives and a mac & cheese with Bacon and Bread Crumbs. I used Ronzoni's gluten free pasta and 4C Bread Crumbs. I baked each recipe in a cupcake tin. Baking mini mac & cheese dishes provides the opportunity to taste all three dishes. The cupcake tins are also great for parties, school events and workplace pot luck events.
This was my first experience using #Ronzoni gluten free pasta and #4C gluten free bread crumbs. I was very pleased with the consistency of the pasta and the bread crumbs. XOXOX Dawn  Have you ever left a cake uncovered? Well I did and it was a couple of days before I noticed. So, I decided to create a dish from my left over cake. I created a simple, quick and tasty bread pudding. This dish has vanilla, cinnamon, raisins, rice milk and of course the Schar Gluten Free Marble Pound Cake. XOXOXO Dawn  #EggoGlutenFree Eggo Waffles have ventured into the gluten free world and they are great! I decided that would eat two boxes of these waffles (not in one sitting LOL!) before writing a product review. The waffles are great for a quick morning meal. They are not dry nor do they taste bland. I had to check the box to make sure they were actually gluten free. Kids and adults will enjoy these waffles. The waffles toast nicely and taste great with butter and syrup. I recommend that you give them a try.
